Last weekend I traveled up to Chicago to photograph Savannah and her lovely family. Here are just a couple to tide them over until I’m all finished!

Krista is an amazingly talented pianist. She’s a professor at U of L Music School, actually is a DR at U of L! Earlier in the year she performed at Carnagie Hall in New York, she travels all over the country playing with other musician. She’s also a wonderful knitter!

Krista contacted me because she’s recorded a CD with a jazz trio and needed some awesome portraits for the cd.

So we ventured out in the billion degree heat and took some lovely portraits in downtown New Albany. She was a trooper though!

Say hello to Dr. Krista!

I have been documenting Kaylea’s life every three months for the last year. Today she brought her parents to the studio so we could snap her 1 year pictures. It only took a year and 4 sessions, but she finally warmed up to me and even gave me a smile or two without mom and dads help. ;-)

She’s such a cutie!

Families like the Lieberts make my job even more enjoyable than it already is. Kelly and I have gone to school together since elementary school and it’s so awesome to see her with a cute family of her own.

Ok, ok, here are the pictues!

Tiffany had a beautiful, intimate wedding today. The day was beautiful, the bride was beautiful, the location as perfect! (OK I might be a bit biased, 5 years ago, I was married at this same spot, The Conrad Caldwell House in Old Louisville).

Enjoy Tiffany and Justin, and congratulations!

Photographing friends is like a double-edged sword! On one hand it’s so great and quite an honor that they trust you to capture them ‘on film’, and on the other hand, it’s like the pressure is doubled!

Kristie, Briar and I went to high school together and hadn’t seen each other since graduation! It was so great to see them and their 2 gorgeous sons!

Their adorable little boys loved the train tracks too!

Rosalind and Ari, oh my gosh. I don’t even think I have words to describe how awesome they are. Once glimpse at this couple and you knew just how much love there was. The wedding was at beautiful Locust Grove here in Louisville, and Rosalind spent so much time and energy in all the details that made the day so special. One of my favorite weddings yet!

*picture heavy because of all the awesomeness that is Rosalind and Ari*

I won’t lie, I have some pretty awesome people who consider me talented enough to photograph them. Alisha just happens to be one of those people. Plus, she, and her husband and son, are pretty easy on the eyes which makes it even better.
