Louisville Portrait Photography: 2013 Updates

Saturday, December 29th, 2012

Hello! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season and is ready for a great new year! Big plans and some changes at Courtney Paris Photography for 2013 and I wanted to keep you all in the loop!

All scheduled sessions beginning January 1, 2013 will priced in the following way:

each session will be $350 and include the following:
up to 2 hours of photography at location of your choice
editing of images
$50 Print Credit
In studio or home editing session.

With almost every client order I field questions, this way, I will be right there while you order, ready to answer your questions, show you sizes, finishes etc. At the time of your photography session, we will schedule your viewing session, you can either come to the studio or I can come to your home. And all proofs will be ready to view in 10 days! Yes, you will have the option to purchase your disc of images, but ONLY after a minimum print order. Why do i do this? Because I want you to actually get your memories up on the wall! So many times (and I am guilty of this as well) my clients will order a disc and if I talk with them weeks or even months later, it’s always the same response, oh yeah I have the disc, I just haven’t ordered my images yet, I need to order my prints. By the time we get around to it everyone in the family looks different and you invested in an amazing session with literally nothing to show on your walls!

I am so very excited to meet new and rephotograph current clients in the new year! Thank you for choosing me to capture your family! If you’re ready to schedule a session for the new year, please send me an email Courtney@courtneyparisphotography.com

Southern Indiana Engagement Session: Amy+Matt

Monday, May 14th, 2012

The weddings I agree to photograph are few and far between. The clients have to have a ‘certain something’ and of course, not be bridezilla material. They always have amazing details and visions for their wedding and photos. When Amy contacted me about her idea for engagement photos, I was super excited. Take a look and you’ll see why! Their wedding is this Saturday and I can’t wait!!

Morgan and Jamie came to me needing some promotional pictures. They’re a ridiculously talented musical duo. Jamie on guitar and Morgan sings.

Louisville Engagement Photographer, Raluca+Chris

Sunday, March 14th, 2010

I cannot believe that I haven’t blogged this fabulous couple yet! Raluca and Chris bid on a portrait session with me at a YPAL fundraiser last year. It only took a couple emails back and forth with Raluca for me to know that this was going to be one fun session!

Louisville Portrait Photographer: Operation Love Reunited, Sian+Carl

Wednesday, October 7th, 2009

Tonight was my very first photo session with OpLove.org, which is a volunteer organization in which photographers donate portrait sessions to deployed military families!

Carl and Sian’s marriage and Carls leaving all take place within 7 days of each other. I wanted to quickly get some images edited and to them so Carl could have some on his email until I can get his proofs to him.

Please check out OpLove.org for more info on this awesome group!

Louisville Wedding Photographer. Terra+Steve:Engaged

Sunday, July 5th, 2009

I love when my photography brings me back into contact with people! Terra and I had met and done all the  contract signing and scheduling so when she showed up for her engagement session with her fiance Steve, it finally occurred to me why his name sounded so familiar, he and I had gone to high school together.

Terra just absolutely glows in front of the camera and is one of the most photogenic people! She choose the most amazing dress. The color was perfect and the cut was adorable. Steve was such a trooper, you could tell taking pictures was not his idea of a good time but he hung in there and played along with us cause he knew it was making Terra happy. (Congrats Steve, you’ve discovered the secret to a happy marriage!)

We shot the session in downtown New Albany, Indiana. There are so many gorgeous buildings and awesome backgrounds, we could have continued shooting for hours if our daylight hadn’t run out!

Chris + Katie: Engaged

Tuesday, December 9th, 2008

Chris and Katie are preparing for wedding number 2 in only one month! Her family is from Minnesota and his family is here, and the faiths are different so they thought to make everyone happy it would be easier to do it that way.

All I can say is, YIKES!

We met on a very cold, snowy morning at a local retreat center, Mt. St. Francis, but they were troopers and had a blast!

Congrats guys, and one down, one to go.
