I cannot believe that I haven’t blogged this fabulous couple yet! Raluca and Chris bid on a portrait session with me at a YPAL fundraiser last year. It only took a couple emails back and forth with Raluca for me to know that this was going to be one fun session!

All of these squirrels just started coming out of nowhere!

Tonight was my very first photo session with OpLove.org, which is a volunteer organization in which photographers donate portrait sessions to deployed military families!

Carl and Sian’s marriage and Carls leaving all take place within 7 days of each other. I wanted to quickly get some images edited and to them so Carl could have some on his email until I can get his proofs to him.

I love when my photography brings me back into contact with people! Terra and I had met and done all the  contract signing and scheduling so when she showed up for her engagement session with her fiance Steve, it finally occurred to me why his name sounded so familiar, he and I had gone to high school together.

Terra just absolutely glows in front of the camera and is one of the most photogenic people! She choose the most amazing dress. The color was perfect and the cut was adorable. Steve was such a trooper, you could tell taking pictures was not his idea of a good time but he hung in there and played along with us cause he knew it was making Terra happy. (Congrats Steve, you’ve discovered the secret to a happy marriage!)

We shot the session in downtown New Albany, Indiana. There are so many gorgeous buildings and awesome backgrounds, we could have continued shooting for hours if our daylight hadn’t run out!

A preview from Terra and Steve’s engagement session on Thursday!

Chris and Katie are preparing for wedding number 2 in only one month! Her family is from Minnesota and his family is here, and the faiths are different so they thought to make everyone happy it would be easier to do it that way.

All I can say is, YIKES!

We met on a very cold, snowy morning at a local retreat center, Mt. St. Francis, but they were troopers and had a blast!
