I won’t lie, I have some pretty awesome people who consider me talented enough to photograph them. Alisha just happens to be one of those people. Plus, she, and her husband and son, are pretty easy on the eyes which makes it even better.
This one is my favorite, and it may or may not have to do with the crazy squirrel just above Alisha’s head..

Penelope has some pretty fantastic things going for her. Not only is she stinkin’ adorable, but her parents are some of the sweetest most genuine people I know. I always get excited when people choose me to photograph their families and special moments, but when it’s friends, it’s all the more special.
Congrats Scott and Emily, she’s beautiful and you’re all just, oh so blessed.

Baby Silas is one of the cutest, chubbiest most adorable babies ever. But then again, look at his parents, the kid comes from pretty good stock. Silas’s mom and I have been friends for quite a while and the sessions where I know and am friends with the clients are some of the best. (and sometimes stressful! haha)

Tonight was my very first photo session with OpLove.org, which is a volunteer organization in which photographers donate portrait sessions to deployed military families!
Carl and Sian’s marriage and Carls leaving all take place within 7 days of each other. I wanted to quickly get some images edited and to them so Carl could have some on his email until I can get his proofs to him.

For Father’s Day, Alicia (who happens to be my sister!) gifted Rene’ with some fabulous family portraits. His daughter Makayla lives on the west coast with her mother and Rene and Alicia get her during the summer and the winter holidays. He needed some good pictures of he and his daughter!!
You know how some pregnant women just look gorgeous and like the vision of picture-perfect baby belly?! Yeah, that’s Robin. It’s like she was made to have gorgeous maternity shots taken! She and I have known each other for 6 or 7 years and a couple years ago she moved with her husband to North Carolina, she knew she was going to be back here for a friends wedding and called to book a session!
Shooting Robin and Anthony was cake, they’re both easy going and, hello! super photogenic, not to mention hilarious be sure to check out the so funny ‘Baby Maker’ shirt!
Andy shipped off today to Fort Benning for Infantry Officer training, and will be gone for quite a few months. So before he left, Emily wanted some pictures of them together.

A few months ago my sweet friend Tiffany contacted me about a portrait session for her 5th anniversary.
So exciting! They live down in Midway, Kentucky so we don’t get to see each other nearly as much as we should. I was ecstatic about a visit with Tiffany and Ryan.
Fun Fact: I was in Ryan and Tiffany’s wedding as a “groomsmaid” when I was 8 months pregnant with Conner. (I’ll see if I can round up a picture next post)

My friend Angie called me a couple weeks ago explaining that her best friends daughter was getting ready to go off to college and wanted a couple shots of her with her daughter, since she’s been like an older sister to her.

When a family, such as the Vaughan Family, is this ridiculously good-looking and photogenic it’s almost a sin for them to not have their pictures taken. Luckily, this is also a really smart family and they realized that. 
As I mentioned in a previous post, my friend Christine and her family got a family portrait session for her mom as a birthday present. The weather set us back a few times, but we were ultimately blessed with a gorgeous, slightly windy, day.
