Wednesday, December 31st, 2008Dopp Babies
Saturday, December 27th, 2008A dear friend of mine and her husband recently adopted 2 baby boys. They’ve actually had them since a few days after birth, but the adoption just recently became official.
Since she moved to Texas several years ago, it’s been a while since we’ve seen each other, and when she came home for Christmas this year, I was elated to take pictures for her.

Sunday, December 14th, 2008Chris + Katie: Engaged
Tuesday, December 9th, 2008Chris and Katie are preparing for wedding number 2 in only one month! Her family is from Minnesota and his family is here, and the faiths are different so they thought to make everyone happy it would be easier to do it that way.
All I can say is, YIKES!
We met on a very cold, snowy morning at a local retreat center, Mt. St. Francis, but they were troopers and had a blast!
Congrats guys, and one down, one to go.
Cans For Comments
Friday, December 5th, 2008My friend Scotty with Think Photographics is participating in Can for Comments this holiday season, he brought it to my attention and think it’s a great idea.
During this crazy economy the local charities, shelters and closets are going to be hit even harder, and I am so blessed to have a job that provides for my family and enables me to continue to give back.
So here it goes, between now and December 14 for every comment that is left on the blog, I’ll donate one can of food.
Book a portrait session with me and mention this opportunity and I’ll donate and extra $10.00.
Visit here over the weekend to get a complete list of other participating photographers!

Thursday, December 4th, 2008Printed Things are so Pretty
Tuesday, October 7th, 2008I new business cards in the mail today and they are just lovely. I think with digital-ness being everywhere, we forget about the impact of an actual printed product.
My card proofs were so nice on the computer screen, but when they arrived in the mail it was much better than I had anticipated. Of course I had the design skillz of Miss Emilee Stites to add to the awesome-ness. (I also got a proof book of Gwen’s maternity images, I’ll talk about that later.)
You can’t really tell in the picture, but they’ve got this beautiful pearly finish to them. So if you’re like me and you’ve got a ton of stuff sitting on your computer or memory cards, go ahead an print them out. You’ll be so happy you did.
Elsie Gray Is Here!
Tuesday, September 23rd, 2008Remember Gwens maternity shoot from a couple weeks ago? Well, Miss Elsie graced the world with her presence yesterday.
Here a just a few I snapped while she was in the nursery getting her bath other essentials.
I hope to do a newborn shoot with them soon!
